A social UTM link is your URL plus utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign. Paste the link, name the network as the source, use social as the medium, and name the campaign. The builder returns one http or https URL with those tags set.

How the tags are applied
- Source, medium and campaign are required. Content and term are optional.
- Only http and https links are accepted. A javascript: or data: address is refused.
- Tags already on the link are replaced. Other query keys, and the part after #, are kept.
- Use the network name as the source when you post the link from that network.
Put the tagged link in a scheduled post: Facebook scheduler, LinkedIn scheduler, or a workflow on the n8n page.
Frequently asked questions
What does the builder add?
It sets utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign on an http or https link. utm_content and utm_term are optional. An empty optional field removes that tag if the link already had it. Every other query parameter and the hash stay.
How are spaces encoded?
With URLSearchParams, so a space in a campaign name becomes a plus sign. Line breaks inside a value become a single space, and surrounding whitespace is removed.
Do I need an account?
No. The link is built in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
