PostDashPro for n8n: schedule social posts from your workflows
The PostDashPro node for n8n lets a workflow queue or draft posts to X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest, attach images and videos, and read back the queue and the results.
Nothing publishes instantly: a future time queues the post, and anything else is saved as a draft.

Install the node
On self-hosted n8n, an owner or admin installs it by name:
- Open Settings → Community Nodes → Install.
- Enter
n8n-nodes-postdashpro. - Tick I understand the risks of installing unverified code from a public source.
- Press Install.
n8n's community nodes installation guide has the full steps. The node was submitted to n8n for verification on 7 October 2026. Once n8n verifies it, it also appears in the nodes panel on n8n Cloud.
The node is built for the n8n 1.x and 2.x node API and was tested against n8n 2.42.3. It has no runtime dependencies.
Create a key and add the credential
- Sign in at postdashpro.com and connect the social accounts you want to post to.
- Open AI Agents, press Connect on any client card, and choose Generate key & show snippet. Copy the key from the snippet; it starts with
pdp_live_. One key counts as one agent connection on your plan. - In n8n, add a PostDashPro API credential and paste the key. Test reads your account and changes nothing.
What the node can do

Networks
The node posts to 8 networks: X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest. PostDashPro supports 12 networks in total; this node covers these 8.
TikTok needs TikTok Privacy set to the account owner's choice. The node never picks one for you; a TikTok post without it is refused with a message saying so.
Queued or draft, never instant
- Give Post → Create a time in the future and the post is queued in your PostDashPro calendar for that time.
- Leave the time out and the post is saved as a draft, so a person decides when it goes out.
- Nothing publishes at the moment the node runs.
A time with an offset or Z is the exact instant. A time without one is read in the Time Zone you set, or your account's time zone. The response echoes scheduledAt, scheduledAtLocal and timezone so you can check it.
Common patterns
Post with an image
Media → Add From URL (a direct link to the .jpg or .mp4) returns a media ID. Then Post → Create with Media IDs set to {{ $json.mediaId }}.
Blog to social
RSS Feed Trigger, then an AI step that writes the caption, then Post → Create with Scheduled At a few hours ahead, so someone can review it in the calendar first.
When a post is refused
If an account needs reconnecting, a plan limit applies, or a TikTok setting is missing, the error in n8n shows PostDashPro's message and the fix.
Use it with n8n's AI Agent node
The node can be used as a tool by n8n's AI Agent node. A post the agent creates is queued for a later time or saved as a draft, so you can review it before it goes out.
Example workflows
Import either one in n8n with Workflows → Import from File, then pick your credential in each PostDashPro node.
- Turn new blog posts into PostDashPro drafts. Reads an RSS feed, takes the newest article and saves it as a LinkedIn and X draft, so someone reviews it before it goes out. Change the feed URL and the networks.
- Weekly posting report from PostDashPro. Every Monday, reads posting analytics (posts by status, success rate, per-network totals) and the posts queued for the week ahead.

Frequently asked questions
How do I install the PostDashPro node in n8n?
On self-hosted n8n, an owner or admin opens Settings, then Community Nodes, then Install, enters n8n-nodes-postdashpro, ticks the box that says the code is unverified and public, and presses Install. Then add a PostDashPro API credential with a key from the AI Agents page in PostDashPro.

Can I use PostDashPro from n8n without the node?
Yes. The same key works with n8n's HTTP Request node against the PostDashPro webhook, which accepts ideas and posts for the same 8 networks. The node is the easier route: it has a field for each setting, imports media from a link, and shows PostDashPro's message and the fix when a post is refused.
